Read this month's issue
In this issue we begin with a look at the future of Professional Military Education (PME) with Matthew Sussex. We then turn to Michael Clarke's analysis of Elbridge Colby's recent remarks relating to U.S. nuclear strategy. Our final piece for August is by Michael Hatherell and examines the phenomenon of Lego propaganda videos emerging from Iran and how we can apply an understanding of strategic narrative in order to assess their potential impact.

In the May issue, we continue to explore contemporary strategic and geopolitical issues, including the expansion of China's nuclear arsenal, the role of a more limited conception of the Rules-Based Global Order in Australian defence and government policy, and ongoing questions surrounding the war in Iran.
In the inaugural issue of Signal, Michael Clarke examines the People's Liberation Army purges in China and what they may signify. We then turn to the Iran war, with Ahmed Hashim exploring the historical background to the conflict and Michael Hatherell offering three observations on its course to date. Finally, Michael Clarke reviews Sean Mirski's We May Dominate the World: Ambition, Anxiety and the Rise of the American Colossus.
